Spa Etiquette

We strive to provide the highest level of sanitation throughout the Spa. By utilizing the Ozone Laundry System, we are able to accomplish ultimate sanitation levels while protecting the environment. Ozone kills bacteria faster than chlorine and is formed naturally during lightning storms. Because it activates with cold water; it reduces the amount of energy used to wash our towels and linens.

What to Bring

We will provide you with all the amenities you need, including your robe, sandals and toiletries. However, your bathing suit is required for all hydrotherapy treatments. For any other treatment you will disrobe to your comfort level. During all treatments the only area of the body that is not completely draped is the area being attended.

What to Leave Behind

We recommend that you do not bring jewelry or valuables. We also ask that you refrain from cell phone use. A locker will be provided to secure your clothing and other personal items, but we are not responsible for misplaced property. Alcohol is not recommended before or after a treatment and is not permitted in the sanctuaries.

When to Arrive

We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your first treatment; allowing ample time to check-in and unwind in our sanctuary. Sip herbal tea in our relaxation lounge, enjoy a dry sauna or multi-jet shower, then start your treatment at ease and on time. It is important that you arrive on time to receive your full treatment time. We respect all of our guest’s schedules and are unable to extend your treatment time due to late arrivals.

Your Comfort Level

If at any time during your treatment you are not completely comfortable and relaxed, whether it be the pressure of the massage, the draping during your treatment, the volume of the music, the room temperature or lighting, simply let your therapist know. This is your time and we are here to make sure your experience is everything it should be.

Minimum Age

The Spa at the Del Monte is designed for guests, 16 years of age and older. Guests aged 16 & 17 may receive massage and facial services, however they must be accompanied by an adult and complete a waiver acknowledging consent for spa services. Guests younger than 16 may enjoy salon services including manicures, pedicures and hair styling services, however the Sanctuaries and Locker Rooms are not available.

Gratuities

Gratuities are a matter of personal discretion. They should reflect your level of satisfaction with each service.

Reserving Appointments

A credit card is required to hold and guarantee all appointments. Gift cards can not be used for this purpose, but can certainly be applied at the time of payment.

Cancellation Policy

To avoid full-price billing for your appointments, we require a 24-hour notice for all cancellations.
